Introduction
This document sets out the official Rules, Guidelines, and Eligibility Criteria for participation in IQLIQ Live. By submitting an application to IQLIQ Live, each applicant acknowledges and agrees to abide by these rules, and if selected as a contestant (‘Qliqmate’), to comply fully with all show requirements, UAE laws, and production guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for participation in IQLIQ Live, applicants must meet the following conditions:
Be 21 years of age or older at the time of application.
Hold the right to reside or lawfully reside in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Proof of residence will be required.
Possess a valid UAE Media License issued by the UAE Media Council (as required by UAE Law).
Have a minimum of 50,000 followers or subscribers on at least one recognized social media platform.
Consent to background checks, including legal, medical, and social history reviews, if requested by IQLIQ Live.
Disclose any existing medical or psychological conditions that may affect participation in the show.

General Rules of Participation
- All selected contestants (“IQliqmates”) must commit to the entire 8-week duration of the show. Also two additional weeks for the purpose of Behind the scene shoots, media briefing, public appearances, and other important briefing as instructed by production.
- Contestants must participate in all scheduled weekly challenges, brand activations, and at least 2 daily live sessions.
- Contestants agree to exclusive participation in IQLIQ Live during the production period and may not engage in any competing shows or media projects.
- Contestants must attend mandatory rehearsals, workshops, and briefings as instructed by production.
Health, Safety & Welfare
- A medical team will be present on set for emergencies. Contestants must follow medical advice provided by IQLIQ Live’s healthcare professionals.
- Contestants must disclose all pre-existing conditions before entering the villa.
- Use of prohibited or dangerous items will result in removal from the show.
- Emergency evacuation or procedures must be strictly followed in case of incidents.
- Mental health support will be available to contestants during the show upon request.
Code of Conduct
Contestants must adhere to the following behavioral standards throughout the competition:
- Treat fellow contestants, production staff, and brand partners with respect and professionalism.
- Refrain from harassment, bullying, discrimination, violence, or hate speech in any form.
- Comply with UAE cultural sensitivities, religious respect, and legal requirements at all times.
- Avoid political campaigning, defamatory speech, or content that could negatively impact IQLIQ Live or its partners.
- Consumption of alcohol and substances is subject to UAE laws and production approval. Illegal drug use is strictly prohibited.
- Social media content related to the show must follow IQLIQ Live posting guidelines. Leaking confidential production details is strictly prohibited.
Voting & Audience Engagement
- →Contestants are required to actively encourage followers to vote via the IQLIQ Live App during the show and as advised by the production.
- →Contestants must go live on the IQLIQ App at least two (2) times daily during the selection/prelude phase and at least three (3) times daily during the airing of the show.
- →Vote-buying, fake accounts, bots, or any fraudulent voting activity is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.
- →Leaderboard rankings on the IQLIQ App will be monitored for irregularities.
- →Any attempt to manipulate audience engagement will lead to penalties or expulsion from the show.
Media & Intellectual Property
- →Contestants grant IQLIQ Live full rights to record, broadcast, and distribute their likeness, voice, and participation across all platforms globally.
- →Personal filming for outside platforms may only be done with prior written approval from QLIQ Live management team.
- →All behind-the-scenes and production content is confidential and must not be disclosed without permission.
- →Contestants agree to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) as part of their participation.
Grounds for Disqualification
- Violation of UAE laws or IQLIQ Live rules.
- Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct.
- Refusal to participate in scheduled show activities without valid reason.
- Engaging in cheating, vote manipulation, or fraudulent audience engagement.
- Compromising the health, safety, or integrity of the show.
- Misconduct by contestant’s team or assistants will be treated as contestant misconduct.
Liability & Responsibility
- IQLIQ Live shall not be liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage occurring outside official production activities.
- Contestants are responsible for their personal belongings, insurance, and any off-set activities.
- IQLIQ Live reserves the right to modify or cancel parts of the show in cases of Force Majeure (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions).
Acknowledgment & Agreement
By applying for IQLIQ Live, each applicant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the rules outlined in this document. Contestants further agree to comply with all instructions, contracts, and policies issued by IQLIQ Live and its production partners.
